As an aspiring sportscaster from Brooklyn, NY, I'm looking to gain experience in multiple aspects of the broadcasting industry.  With a strong passion to work as an on-camera personality, I'm looking to hone my skills to eventually reach my ultimate goal.

Performer / Sports Host ~ January 2014 - present

Talent within Walt Disney World's Sports Broadcasting division.  Host NFL Sunday Tailgate at the ESPN Club, located at the Boardwalk Resort within Walt Disney World.  Interview former NFL athletes, preview upcoming games, and interact with fans by hosting live trivia 90 minutes prior to kickoff.  Perform in Walt Disney World shows and parades.

Madsion Square Garden Network

Production ~ September 2012 - 2019

Compile sports footage from live nightly games for production of MSG 150 highlight segment. Locate archived footage of New York Rangers & New York Knicks for creation of MSG Network original content and programming. Assist in building graphics for in-studio segments.

Accomplishments

  • Interviewed over two dozen athletes at the 2002 Paralympics. Received literacy award from NYC at the age of 11.
  • Attended the Bruce Beck & Ian Eagle sportscasting camp from 2008-2010.
  • Hosted and produced an online radio show in 2010 that gained over 1,700 listens in its six-month existence.
  • Finalist in the 2007 1010 Wins "Tomorrow's Newsmaker's" competition.
  • Four time host of cable television show based in Little Falls, New Jersey titled "Carpe Diem".

As an MLB.com site publisher, I'm responsible for reviewing all video content that gets processed and posted on each of the 30 MLB club sites.  Aside from working with prerecorded content, I push live video alerts to both Mobile and desktop subscribers when important moments occur during specific games.

Production Assistant / Freelance Highlight Editor September 2011 - March 2012

Assisted producers with finding content for the NFL Today and NCAA Football radio programming. Cut audio content from both live NFL and NCAA football games and corresponding press conferences for use on pre and post-game shows. Reviewed games to provide sponsors with soundbites relating to their specific companies. Cut live audio highlights for NCAA March Madness coverage in 2012.

Worked as the only English writing blogger for HockeyKanalen.se, a website operated by Sweden's Tv4 television station.  Provided updates about the National Hockey League and Swedish players throughout the 2009-10 NHL season.

Reviewed finance reports for NBC Sports' The Daily Line.  Researched controversial story lines to provide directors and talent with possible segments.  Logged Philadelphia Eagle press conferences for use during the live recordings.
